The client struggled with inconsistent visitor management and inefficient conference room booking. Our research revealed existing systems that were fragmented, confusing way finding and employee work-arounds. The opportunity was clear—to integrate systems, improve efficiency and create first class visitor spaces and interactions.
Our team developed a comprehensive strategy focused on optimizing spatial design and integrating digital interactions for the way people worked. We proposed an integrated system for visitor management, improved receiving spaces, intuitive wayfinding, and integrated conference room booking tools.
Our global client wanted to ensure that their visitors had a first class experience in every office—balancing global standards with cultural expectations. Additionally, their conference room booking system was leveraged by employees in every office.
Our team interviewed 52 individuals across 4 continents and 14 worldwide cities, to better understand the unique needs and breakpoints. We then mapped 4 detailed journeys, highlighting experiences across visitors, employees, technology and space.
Leveraging these insights and tools, our teams developed a future vision of a first-class visitor experience, enabled by efficient tools and welcoming spaces. Additionally, we recommended specific tools, processes and integrations that could enable an intuitive conference room booking experience across all their campuses and office spaces.
