As Sammons Financial Group looked to modernize its operations and refresh its company culture, leadership recognized that its existing campus was sending the wrong message. Isolated offices, formal meeting rooms, and an outdated layout were hindering collaboration, reinforcing hierarchy, and limiting the agility needed to attract new talent. With hybrid work on the rise and employee expectations evolving, Sammons needed a complete rethinking of what its workplace could and should be.
geniant led a human-centered, data-informed strategy to reshape Sammons’ environment. The design introduced open collaboration areas, flexible workstations, wellness amenities, and a hospitality-driven aesthetic. Amenity spaces—including a central café and a variety of lounge zones—offered team members autonomy in how and where they work. Materials and branding elements were carefully chosen to signal transparency and warmth, while architectural choices such as glass-walled meeting rooms promoted openness and connection. The entire campus experience was reframed not just as a place to work, but as a tool to support culture, retention, and belonging.
