Empowering People to Drive Lasting Change
Larry Levy, known for ventures in real estate, trading, hospitality, and law, needed a unified workspace that could support the operational needs of four different businesses while feeling unmistakably like “his” space. It had to be sophisticated enough for investors and clients, flexible enough for day-to-day operations, and personal enough to reflect his deep love of music, collaboration, and Chicago. The design challenge wasn’t just about organizing desks. It was about architecting a meaningful user experience that honored both business and legacy.
geniant brought a strategic lens to the project, starting with behavioral and brand discovery. We helped identify what mattered most to Levy and his team, then shaped the space to match. Executive zones were placed with intention, creating a rhythm between openness and privacy. A Santiago Calatrava sculpture anchors Levy’s personal office, while a large central table replaces a traditional desk, signaling collaboration over hierarchy. Strategic UX thinking informed layout choices, circulation flow, and visual storytelling throughout the office. Rock-and-roll photography became an interactive layer of the design, transforming walls into cultural conversation starters. The result is a family office that operates at the pace of modern business but feels as expressive and warm as the man who leads it.
