Aeromexico sought to modernize and differentiate their Business Class offering to meet the expectations of global travelers while staying deeply rooted in their national identity. Their challenge was to elevate the onboard experience in a way that felt premium, modern, and unmistakably Mexican, without sacrificing operational efficiency or brand cohesion. With increasing competition from international carriers, they needed a bold, immersive solution that delivered both visual impact and tactile comfort.
We led the strategy, concept, and execution for a new Business Class bedding system and onboard design refresh. Our approach centered around materiality, cultural storytelling, and design systems. We integrated bold textures, locally inspired patterns, and a refreshed visual identity that balances warmth with modernity. This cross-functional design solution enhanced both comfort and brand expression, ensuring every detail from blanket to branding reflected the airline’s evolution and Mexico’s design heritage. The result was a cohesive, high-touch experience that delights passengers while reinforcing brand loyalty.
