Kimball’s original showroom at 318 N Carpenter Street had evolved into a static showcase of furniture pieces rather than an activation space that invited engagement, reflection, and connection. As Kimball prepared to welcome enterprise clients and industry partners back into physical spaces post-pandemic, they needed a showroom that felt alive, intentional, and on-brand. They were also lacking a cohesive visual narrative to tell the story of the new space digitally—limiting the brand’s reach and resonance across touchpoints.
geniant led a comprehensive redesign centered on spatial storytelling, visual identity, and digital performance. The team reimagined the floor plan to prioritize movement and discovery—anchored by a two-sided volume containing a hospitality bar and a working design studio. Visitors could freely explore curated vignettes including lounge, wellness, and collaboration zones, each expressing a different aspect of the Kimball experience. Simultaneously, geniant elevated the visual design language and captured high-resolution photography optimized for digital channels. Image assets were compressed and reformatted for web using best-in-class tools (Squoosh, TinyPNG), allowing the storytelling to live seamlessly across platforms without performance trade-offs.
